“Living in the city for more than forty years, started knowing it from last twenty two years but actually attempting to unfold it’s mystics with my eyes and my camera for last eight years. Since then, it has been a ritual to go on photo walks. earlier it was on Sunday mornings, then on special occasions too and now, be it, morning, noon, evening or night, one can easily find me roaming in the streets, on the Ghats or the exteriors of Banaras, sometimes alone, sometimes with other photo enthusiasts. My close encounters with the Daily Life Stories of Banaras are not just for the sake of photography, they have developed a different understanding of the city and life within me. I have delved myself completely to photographing Street. After spending 7 years and making Lakhs of pictures on the Streets of Varanasi, I still have the hunger and thirst left for more…”
